Farm Management Plans Victoria is run by James Thomas (BSc, PGDip). James has around 20 years of experience in vineyard, agricultural and rural property management.
His work has involved the day-to-day management of rural property, including vineyard establishment and management, livestock, machinery and infrastructure, contractors, seasonal operations, land management, budgeting and general farm decision-making.
James comes from a farming family and has spent much of his working life around small agricultural businesses and rural properties. That practical background is useful when considering how a property can realistically be managed and how a proposed agricultural use will work in practice.
Farm Management Plans Victoria works directly with landowners and, where needed, alongside planners and other specialists involved in a project.
